Beaded Slippers ... a special order!

Take a look at the Accessories Page and you will find a very special order indeed, for a very special customer.  You will see a picture of one slipper, there is a matching one which is almost finished!   There is a close up of the beaded area of the slipper and the slipper matches the template of the client's foot!

The slipper features a beaded Prince of Wales' Feather  on a red needlepoint background, and this colour was specially chosen by the the customer!

I believe the finished work will be sent off to a very special company of shoe makers, dare I call them cobblers, and they will be turned into slippers.  They will not be glass slippers, but the beads certainly are glass, but they are a very unusual example of footwear, and I am sure you will agree.

Needlework ... to be framed when completed ready to go to a lovely home ...

Below you can see a set of some examples of unframed  needlework  ... there are  four  in this matching set. The individual pieces of needlework feature lemons, apples, pears and oranges.
The  orange example is  not quite finished yet, but is well on the way.

When all four are finished they will be framed separately, but matching,
and for sale at Hitch and Stitch.
