SPRING HAS SPRUNG !!!

Well the weather is certainly changing ...

There are some new and exciting additions to these pages.  Take a look in the knitwear page and you will find two more Chanel type jackets.  This time with one in blue shades and the other in oranges and browns.  They are  lovely colour combinations and well worth a look.  Why not email Mr. Hunt and tell him what you think of these new pieces of work.  Go on, make a comment!

Also some additions to the Aran page.  This time with the use of some handspun wools and some unbleached wools.  They really do look stunning.  They are certainly  additions with a difference!!!  Three new Arans on that page, go on and take a look and Mr. Hunt would love to hear your comments.

New cushions on the way and some cross stitches to be framed and prepared for sale.  So much happening, and looking forward to your comments!

THE COLD WEATHER IS SETTING IN ...

With the cold weather, it is the perfect time to add a classic piece of knitwear to your wardrobe.  It will last a life time with care and keep you warm in the process.  A new pullover has been added to the knitwear page, a garment worked in lovely chain link cables, Icelandic in style.  It is in a beautiful colour too!  Take a look on the knitwear page.

Also, on the Accessories page you will find some Football Accessories.  Which team do you go for?  Why not order a full set in your preferred colours?  A beanie, scarf and mittens.

Beaded Slippers ... a special order!

Take a look at the Accessories Page and you will find a very special order indeed, for a very special customer.  You will see a picture of one slipper, there is a matching one which is almost finished!   There is a close up of the beaded area of the slipper and the slipper matches the template of the client's foot!

The slipper features a beaded Prince of Wales' Feather  on a red needlepoint background, and this colour was specially chosen by the the customer!

I believe the finished work will be sent off to a very special company of shoe makers, dare I call them cobblers, and they will be turned into slippers.  They will not be glass slippers, but the beads certainly are glass, but they are a very unusual example of footwear, and I am sure you will agree.

Needlework ... to be framed when completed ready to go to a lovely home ...

Below you can see a set of some examples of unframed  needlework  ... there are  four  in this matching set. The individual pieces of needlework feature lemons, apples, pears and oranges.
The  orange example is  not quite finished yet, but is well on the way.

When all four are finished they will be framed separately, but matching,
and for sale at Hitch and Stitch.

Lemons ...
Apples ...

Pears ...

Oranges ... unfinished ...
